Is Microblading a form of Tattoo?
Unlike a regular tattoo, “microblading is a form of tattoo artistry where color pigment is implanted under the first layer of your skin with a manual handheld tool instead of a machine. Manny uses a patent manual tool by Phi-brows and using the tool draws hair-like strokes that mimic natural hairs in your brows, giving the illusion of a 3d Eyebrows that look very natural. It is still a tool because pigment is implanted under the skin.
What do you need prepare for?
Drink a lot of water, stop taking Aspirin or any other blood thinners one week before your treatment. Stop using Retinol as Retinol makes your skin thin and then you bleed a little more. NO Alcohol!
Will this treatment hurt?
Pain is relative, some people feel more pain than others. Overall it feels like a nail scratch. It is no way like a labor pain or tooth ache. Manny may use a numbing cream at times to ease his patient anxiety, just to dull the discomfort.
How long will it take?
Like any other treatment, there is a process and to get the perfect brows you will have to be patient so Manny can achieve the right result for your face. Generally speaking, give yourself a minimum of 3 hours for completion of the eyebrow set.
Will I need a second touch up?
Yes! Since this process is semi-permanent, depending on the results you want to achieve, you may need a second touch up to keep up the maintenance.
